In our opinion there is nothing more valuable with in a play space than encouraging education through nature;

Mounding

This could be as simple as mounding, children just love to climb and roll.

Textures

Bring different textures into your design, grass, textured paving, different surfacing under individual play pieces, (sand, wood chip, grass matting)  wooden tree slices, tree trunks, boulders etc …

 

Planting

Children love learning about colours and smells, adding hardy plants such as lavender, rosemary, mint can but enhance their experience.

 

 

 

 

 

Flowers

Perhaps include wild flower walk through, dedicate an area and mow a curved strip to create a pathway.

Natural structures that the children can help make form great covered walkways.
