Amanda Andrews – Designer

I have worked in the Play industry since leaving university, some 20yrs ago, I never expected to have a career in playground design, it’s one of those jobs you think doesn’t exist and I always surprises people when I tell them, what usually follows is.. ‘that’s not a real job!, ‘do you get to try the equipment?’

Since having my child, it has changed my perspective on designing playgrounds, I now see play through the eyes of my son and it gives me such a different outlook.
