There are many types of surfacing you can use, all should conform to the BS EN 1177 standard, please see the list below for a brief guide…<\/p>\n

Wetpour <\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a resin bound rubber crumb, it requires a sub-base and edging around the perimeter. (wetpour will have differing depths (40mm, 50mm etc depending on the piece of equipment it is placed under)<\/p>\n

Grass Matting<\/strong><\/p>\n

A grass matt with mesh underlay, this can be installed directly onto well established grass.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Loosefill<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bark or Woodchip loose surfacing, this also has varying depth requirements depending on equipment height.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Rubber Mulch<\/strong><\/p>\n

A resin bound rubber shreds this can be laid on top of solid existing hard surfacing or grass.<\/p>\n

Sand<\/strong><\/p>\n

Playgrade sand can be used in large areas under equipment or small sand pits with in an area.<\/p>\n

Rubber Tiles<\/strong><\/p>\n

Individual rubber tiles laid onto a solid base, edging to be placed around the perimeter.<\/p>\n

Grass Synthetic Surface<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grass carpet surfacing, laid onto compacted sand base.<\/p>\n
